About Mia

Meet Mia, a 1.5 year old Aussie Mix weighing almost 40 lbs. Mia is an energetic and playful girl who loves to be as close as possible to her human unless there are other dogs to play with. Mia is a very social and active girl who loves playing fetch. She will sit on command and is ready and willing to learn whatever comes next. Mia is fostered with other dogs of various sizes without issue, though there is a suspected prey drive to animals under 15 lbs. She is house trained, crate trained, and current on vaccines. She's fostered in Harrisburg, PA and waiting for her furever family. Mia will be spayed prior to adoption. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
