About Betty

Betty is from the Flintstones litter of Shepherd mixes. She is 11 weeks old and weighs 12 lbs. Betty is a tad timid around humans at first, but once she's snuggled and safe, she'll cuddle endlessly. Betty is being introduced to potty training and she does well in the comfort of her crate that is covered like a den. She enjoys laying in her crate with the door open watching the action around her. Betty does have a playful side and comes to life with the resident dogs in her foster home when they're in the back yard together. She enjoys outrunning all of the other dogs followed by a very long nap. Betty enjoys playing with a variety of toys but but hasn't selected a favorite yet. This sweet snuggler is current on age appropriate vaccines and fostered in Harrisburg, PA. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
