About Rascal

Meet Rascal, a 45 pounds Border Collie mix who is about one year old. Rascal is a smart guy. Despite starting out as an outside dog, in his foster home he has quickly learned sit. He is also now crate and house trained. Rascal would be a great adventure partner. He is nice on leash and rides well in the car. He has plenty of energy and would love to hike, camp, or jog. Rascal is nice with other dogs. We don't know how he is with cats, but suggest it's a no since he isn't at all good with chickens. Rascal is also a good boy around adults and older kids. We haven't had him with small kids, but since he is still a pup learning not to jump when excited, we think small kids won't be a fit. Rascal is a sweet boy who wants a home that keeps him engaged. He is fun and busy and will be a great active pal for an active person. When he gets lots of activity, he does actually relax for hugs and pets. Rascal is neutered, microchipped, and he is up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Apple Valley, CA. We do not ship our dogs. He is available for a meeting and adoption in SoCal. A home visit and vet reference are required.
