About Quincy

English Springer Spaniel / Pit Bull
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Quincy 11 week old terrier/spaniel mix 12lbs Hey! I'm Quincy! I'm the cutest sweetest girl around! I have the most beautiful brown eyes, that match my beautiful brown coat. I'm a happy little puppy and I LOVE people! I'm submissive and lay right on my back when I see a person - I'm always hoping for a belly scratch. I don't live with kids, but I got to play with some the other day and boy was it fun! They carried me around and we played hide and seek! I was very quiet when we were hiding! I live with another dog and she's my idol! I love to follow her around and do what she's doing. Sometimes she doesn't want to play and I understand and go play by myself. I'm working hard on house training. I follow my foster sister outside to do my business. I don't really like this freezing weather - though I will tolerate it for a bit to play in the snow! Now snow is fun! I sleep all night in my crate without a peep. Sometimes in the morning my foster family lets me snuggle in bed with them. That's my favorite! My foster family says I'm a happy, bouncy perfect little puppy. I love toys, chasing balls and squeaky toys. I'm very attentive. I will sit for a treat and will quickly pick up any other commands you are ready to teach me. Oh! I almost forgot to mention my very very favorite thing! Snuggling! I LOVE spending the evening watching TV on my foster dad's lap. I'd love to come to your house and snuggle you too! Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a 'teen' or adult dog. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
