About Cheekums

This poor Senior girl's owner passed away and she found herself in a cage in a shelter. She was adopted by a younger couple who had her for several years, but when they had children, Cheekums was not a fan. Sadly, she was surrendered to Little Orphans. Cheekums is a very dainty, particular lady who loves to curl herself up into the shape of a tea cozy or cuddle up with her person in bed. She doesn't mind strangers and likes to be the center of attention. Her other favorite activities include chasing laser pointers, climbing cat trees, sitting in a window sill, and locating sunbeams to lounge in. She likes to be petted, but only on her terms. Cheekums enjoys bossing her human around and will hiss and walk away when she's finished receiving their affection. She enjoys the company of adults, but is afraid of small children. As a result, we believe a home with adults only or children over the age of 10 would be most comfortable for her. Cheekums has been updated on her distemper and rabies vaccines, Feline Leukemia tested Negative, and was previously spayed through another shelter several years ago.
