About Bacardi

***Sorry, we cannot adopt outside the Southern California area***Meet Bacardi! Bacardi is a very handsome Egyptian Mau/DSH mix. He was born around 8/31/19. He is an orange cream tabby tuxedo. He has white mittens and boots as well. His fur is extremely soft. Bacardi will need a very patient adopter. He is quite hesitant until he decides to 'choose' you. He loves chicken and steak scraps and that is the way to his heart. He likes routine, for example, he has tended to warm up to those in the home who always sit in the same spot-like to watch tv and eat on the couch. In the morning he will come up and cuddle in right next to his foster mom and stay for quite a while. If she picks him up and puts him close to her chest, he will be fine for about 30 seconds and when he starts thinking about it, then he wants to go back to just cuddling in next to her. He tends to do this mostly in the morning and then again in the afternoon. He loves meat scraps at your dinner time and then will cuddle some more in the evening. He loves to be pet when he is cuddling in next to you and he will purr and purr. He likes to be pet all over and he responds by rolling over and moving around, etc. He gets along and loves to play with the other foster kitties in the house. He may also be fine with a dog given a good introduction. He was found under a truck in front of his current foster home. He must have been up in the engine trying to keep warm as he was very greasy. He was starving, emaciated, and almost died. After getting the veterinarian care he needed as well as great care in his foster home, he is happy and healthy.
