Meet Duke! A red heeler that is a good candidate for adoption. We brought him home at 2 months old from our local animal shelter. He is crate trained and knows some basic commands. Duke is now about 9 months old and no health issues (regular checkups at the Perkins Vet). He is good with adults and kids but has started 'heeling' our three year old and I don't have the livestock to keep him entertained and feeling purposed. He's not aggressive with people and has the drive to work. Duke would be a great pet for anyone with livestock or experience with training this breed (I've only trained retrievers). I believe he's intelligent and trainable, but I don't have the time to train him properly. Glad to answer any questions you may have, or send additional photos.
