About Gunner

Gunner is a clumsy, goofy 10 month old Pitbull mix looking for a family that loves to play as much as he does. A house full of tough toys is a must! He weighs just over 30 pounds and still has some growing to do. Gunner can be a little shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly. He needs a home with a playful canine companion to keep him entertained and help him gain confidence. He gets along with dogs of all sizes, but would do best with a dog who appreciates his klutzy puppy ways. Gunner also does great with cats of all temperaments. Cuddle time is just as important to Gunner as playtime, so he would love a home where he'd be allowed to snuggle in bed with his people at night. He is kennel trained and does best when kenneled while his people aren't home so he doesn't get into any mischief. He is also potty trained, but may need some reminders once adopted while he adjusts to a new routine. Gunner currently knows sit, down, and paw, and is always eager to learn more. He needs a home with no children under the age of 18 - he can play a bit rough and likes to pretend he's a herding dog! He would do best with an active family, and would love to have a fenced in yard big enough for him to get his zoomies out. Gunner was originally found at 5 months old, emaciated and clearly neglected, so he needs a patient family to show him how special and loved he is for the rest of his life. No apartments or rentals with breed or weight restrictions. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $120 which includes 30 days of complementary pet insurance and a free veterinary visit.
