We have a male pit bull stray that came to our ranch (likely he was abandoned) about 2 months ago. He is about 1 1/2 years old, we got him vaccine current and neutered at our vet, and we tried to home him here but it isn't working out. We have 4 dogs already and can't keep five. He is great around our kids, obeys well, is very sweet and lovable, but he is not getting along with the other alpha male, a german shorthair pointer. We are outside of Bakersfield CA. The SPCA won't take pit bulls and we don't want him to go to the pound because they will likely put him down. We want to find a good home for him.
