About Khalil

Hi friends!! My name is Khalil, I am a sweet, super happy, super loving boy! I have been with SDR for much longer than we all would like! Reason being, I came to know SDR when I was rescued off the rez in New Mexico with a broken pelvis and old spinal injury. When I arrived they got me into an x-ray! Sadly it was decided that at the time I was not ready yet to go home... But guess what?! I am now! I had some follow up x-rays and everyone agreed that even though I am wobbly I am in fact safe and ready to go home! A little about who I am as a dog; I am good with most other dogs, however would do better with a female who is not bigger than me. I am a super rough player so for sure a girl who can handle that. I would love to live with a dog who will let me get attention and will share with me. I love to cuddle, and play with toys. Not to mention I could eat for days! (yet I am not allowed.. its lame) Anyway! I am not good with cats, they are just too small and furry.. not my thing. I love kids and adults! Don't let my walk fool you, I am just like all the others!! Please consider taking me home. I am even fully vetted as they say! Neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and free of all bad things!
