About Habbie, Adopted

'My name is Habbie, like Abbie with an H! I'm one of the best old gals you'll ever meet! I'm ready for a loving home of my own. Prior to coming into Legacy Boxer Rescue's care, I probably was left to live on concrete a lot of the time, the redness and hair loss on the feet are sad reminders. In spite of that, I have perfect inside manners and love hanging out with people! I know that potty business is outside business, I know to leave people things alone and I know to keep all 4 feet on the floor. I have so much energy for my estimated 10 years of age. You'll never believe I'm a senior! I have so much spunk. I love going on walks and I'm learning not to pull so hard on the leash. I definitely have better walking manners when using a harness. I am still learning about playing with people and other dogs, but think it is pretty awesome! It will be easy to teach me new things because I LOVE FOOD!! You should see my food dance. It is the cutest thing! My foster mom thinks I am part Pavlov dog because I am a drooler. I like sniffing all the options that people have on their plates, so you might want to be careful where you leave tempting food stuff;) I think I would make an excellent food critic. I just haven't convinced my foster mom of that! My mom says I am a little skittish, so please watch out for me on new experiences and noises. And don't be upset if I get startled by unexpected noises or movements. I would love to have a family of my own to spend my golden years. I would rather not ever be in a crate. It reminds me too much of the lonely patio where I used to live. Since I am a good girl with great house manners, you can trust me to hang out inside the house when you're gone. I have so much love to give and some great spunk too! Boxers always keep a bit of puppy energy. I've waited a long time to have a family who loves me unconditionally. I can't wait to meet you!
