About Zelda, Adopted

'My name is Zelda, Princess Zelda. I'm named after the main character in The Legend of Zelda, and like her I can be a rough and tumble tomboy! As the only girl in the Quest puppy litter, I had to learn to hold my own. In my foster home I LOVE hanging out with the big dogs. Wrestling and mouth jousting are my favorite things. It is so much fun having older pups to show me the ropes! I am super active, I'm a Boxer after all and a puppy! I seem to have unbridled energy then I need to recharge with a nap. If you're looking for an expert snuggler, look no further! I love snuggling up for a nap when I need to be recharged after playing. Since I am a puppy, I am still learning all about how to become a good dog. I will need puppy training with positive reinforcement and a family who will be patient while I am learning. I am going to need an active family or a home with other animal friends to keep me busy. A tired puppy is a good puppy. I love playing with toys and am learning that people prefer that I chew on those only. I am getting better at taking care of potty business outside. As a reminder, I can only be left alone for 1 hour per month of age; my bladder just can't hold it longer than that. I'm also learning that my crate is my very own space where I can hang out while you're away. If I'm in my crate, I'll let you know if I have some outside business to tend to by barking. Since I'm still learning, I know that, 'No ma'am' means I need to stop what I'm doing. I'm really smart!! I'm a growing girl and I love my food!! You should see my jumping dinner dance! I dance a little jig then sit and wait for my bowl. You have to see it for yourself. It is among the cutest things I do.
