About Bailey

Bailey is a pure bred bloodhound who needs a new home due to a changing living situation. He needs someone who is familiar with this breed as they are a true working breed. He suffers from separation anxiety and misbehaves when left unattended for too long. He must be kept on a leash at all times due to his ability and desire to follow his nose. He is very loving at night after he is properly exercised but skipping more than one or two walks leads to trouble. He is potty trained but tends to forget that he is when in a new place, ie when taken to a friends house or your house which will be new to him. He is HIGHLY intelligent and can open sliding glass doors and will take food off the countertop if left unattended. He knows most standard tricks and comes when called if he is not outside or following a trail. He is a good loving dog and I don't want him to sound like he's a lost cause but his new owner must be willing to work with him a lot. Don't consider him if you don't have the time to spend with him.
