About Alfie

Alfie is a one year old 44 pound mixed breed who may have Husky, Fiest or beagle. Without a DNA test, we can't guarantee breeds. We were told he was a beagle as a puppy, but he's obviously a true mix breed. Alfie is house and crate trained, good on a leash, and great with other dog's. Alfie is scared of children. He was adopted and returned as a puppy and the behaviorist we saw has some concerns that he may have been teased or treated badly by the child in the first home. No kids no grandkids please. You can walk Alfie on a leash with children nearby and there will not be any issues. We do not want him living with children in a home because he becomes very anxious and fearful. He's a sweet dog who deserves a chance at a home without kids. He has never bitten anyone or threaten to bite. He gets anxiety like some people do in an uncomfortable situation. Adopter is welcome to speak to his fosters who love him. If you don't have children planned for your future, Alfie may be a good match for your home.
