Kanga is 87 pounds and possibly 8 years old. She was a foster dog found pregnant on the freeway. She's a strong, healthy dog that needs daily walks/runs/swims or a job. She would be great for a hiker or a runner who has time to leash train her because she pulls. She'd make a great guard dog, but does not do well living next door to others dogs because she is a territorial fence fighter and can destroy wooden fences. She is leary of strangers, especially men, and will bark aggressively. She occasionally growls when irritated. But once she gets to know you she is a sweet girl that demands a lot of attention and wants to sleep at the end of your bed or next to you. She has food aggression and is protective of kitchen space with strangers. She may bite from behind. And she will chase and kill small critters and birds. She needs an experienced large dog breed owner or she will be alpha! She also is bonded with her daughter Sasha, who is also available for adoption.
