About Nellie

Nellie is a very loving and loyal dog. currently in foster in Olympia, WA Loves walks, tends to pull because she wants to check everything out but does well when kept close. Definitely needs a home where she has a yard with the freedom to run around and be free. Nellie loves to play fetch. Needing her forever home and family. Crate and potty trained. Currently 40 pounds. She's was not socialized with dogs or cats :( adopted as a puppy so should not be in a home with cats. Adopter likely should work with a dog trainer since she doesn't know what to do with dogs. Her adoption fee is $175. We are happy to pay for 1/2 of the dog training which would be approx what her adoption fee is and highly recommend Patti Howard a local trainer. Nellie is very sweet and loving and adores humans. Good with kids - even very young kids. In other words, Patti Howard is about $200 for training a rescue dog. If you have kept Nellie we will refund $100 of the adoption fee (or 1/2 of the cost of training with Patti ) as we just want her well socialized and in a loving FOREVER HOME!.
