About OLLIE

Ollie is a male PRT around seven years old. He is definitely a Jack through and through, meaning he is high energy, toy motivated, and intelligent. His foster mom has to make sure he doesn't see her throw away his shredded toys--otherwise he will dive into the trash can after them!(br)(br)Ollie would likely do fine with or without other animals. He ignores dogs and cats, except when he thinks they are after his toys. He toy guarded heavily the first few days in foster, but once he learned his foster siblings aren't thieves, this behavior seems to have resolved. He currently lives with a large hound mix, a chihuahua/terrier mix, and a cat, and has no interest in any of them. Ollie also doesn't growl when his foster moms take his toys, though he does hang on for dear life!(br)(br)Ollie seems to be housebroken, as he has only had two accidents and potties immediately when allowed outside into his fenced yard. Ollie does know 'sit,' and the hand signal for this command, but tends to only abide when there is a toy or treat involved. Ollie is guilty of counter surfing, and because he's so tall, he can reach the dining room table! His foster mom is working with him on this, and he is already improving. His new owners would just need to continue to set these boundaries with him. (br)(br)Ollie runs around like crazy all day, then is happy to collapse in bed with his foster moms and foster sister. He likes to sleep in! He is a huge cuddle bug at bedtime, and grunts and groans when you have to wake him up early. His foster mom thinks his grunts are adorable, and that he will make a great companion for someone!
