Astro the dog is a star here at the shelter. Astro is one of those dogs that is so great you just can't believe that no one came looking for him. This boy walks great on a leash and would easily learn to walk at your side with some guidance. He's gentle and caring. He's very people-oriented and would be a great companion dog. Astro already knows sit and will catch all the treats you throw at him. Astro is very treat motivated and would be easily trained for more commands. Astro seems to be house trained as he holds it as long as he can in his kennel. Astro likes to play with toys and chew on bones. Astro can be quite goofy and playful when he gets to know you.
