About Pixie

Welcome Pixie to CCPAL. Pixie has been with CCPAL for a couple of months. She is a 50lb 3-year-old Pitbull Terrier/Staffordshire Terrier mix. She came in as a malnourished crusty mess from the streets of San Antonio. There was some other smaller dog that was running with her and the good Samaritan that found her could not ever find the puppy. We suspect the worse because of the shape that Pixie was in on the intake. CCPAL followed closely the vet's advise and look at Miss Pixie now. She is robust and has a beautiful coat. CCPAL treated her for heart worms too. She is now cleared and the vet says she is ready for her forever home. Pixie is good with other dogs and has been around another female Pitbull. She is great with the puppies in her foster home too. She isn't allowed time with the cat in her foster home unattended due to her interest in the cat. We think she should not be in a home with a cat. She is good in a crate and goes potty outside. She is good in car rides and likes it on a leash. She is moderately active and is good at not jumping up on you�'�|.a rarity in rescue dogs. She can go with other dogs or as an only dog. She can go in a home with kiddos. We like kiddos to be 7 and above. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with the wonderful transporters to deliver her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Vermont and all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 200 and transport is 185.
