About Washington

Washington is a 4 year old amazing low rider pit mix who will surely steal your heart. He's a ball full of energy and wiggles and just wants to love on you! He would do best in an active family and will also be spending some time with our trainer learning basic commands and boundaries. He is an absolute doll who just is so exited to love and be loved! He will need a meet and greet with any resident dogs as he can sometimes try to dominate. Washington is currently at a foster home in Massachusetts where he is doing great with the 6 resident dogs (5 females, 1 male between 15 and 65 lbs) though he doesn't really understand their 'leave me alone' signals, which seems to be a common staffy trait, it would be very beneficial to have someone who has experience introducing dogs. He still wants to chase the cats but is learning restraint. He also has done well with the resident chickens, ducks and goats. He is a very sweet boy who knows what he wants but will listen if you work on training with him.
