Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Name: Yeti Sex: Male Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Poodle (Miniature) / Maltese / Mixed (long coat) Weight: est 7 lb Height: about 8 in Estimated Birthdate: 9/11/2017 Fence Needed: No Location: Dreamweaver Farms Pacolet SC Adoption Fee:$349 Date into Rescue: 9/10/2019 Reason for being in rescue: Yeti was one of a group of dogs living with their homeless owner in her car. She lovingly and willingly surrendered the dogs to animal control so they would have a better life. Special Needs: None noted What kind of home would be best for me: Yeti needs a home with a yard, and some canine friends and a lot of fun and activity. What is my personality like: Happy and playful. Yeti has been known to do a little resource guarding (but look at his background). He would benefit from a savvy dog owner who knows how to say 'stop that' and not let him get away with it. In a foster home he was sweet and easy but his foster mom was very dog savvy and he never even attempted any guarding. He was adopted briefly but his young owner had to bring him back as she did not know how to manage the behavior. His foster mom also gave him a lot more running around time (with the other dogs in the back yard) and this additional exercise may have made all the difference. How do I act when I first meet new people: Friendly. Tips and Tidbits: Est birthdate 09/11/2017 Yeti has been known to do a little resource guarding (but look at his background). House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
