Thank You for your cooperation*** WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around the US and Canada, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Renton, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Chase Quick Pay, PayPal, or cash. Beautiful Holly somehow ended up in a police pound in Shanghai China with no food water or protection from bigger dogs. Once dogs enter police pounds in China they don't make it out alive. Our fearless Chinese rescue partners managed to get Holly and her 3 poodle firends out the back door and asked if we could help find them forever homes. Holly is personality plus and has never met a stranger. She very affectionate and loves to gives kisses. She is a smart girl and eager to please. Holly lived with a foster family in China before coming to Seattle. They did a beautiful job with her and she doesn't show any visible signs of her sad past. Holly will need continued work with potty training and general obedience once she finds her forever home. Holly has not been around young children. It is always up to the new family to be responsible with introducing new pets and in all interactions with pets and children. Holly is about 14 months old and weighs about 17 lbs. Based on her appearance we believe she is a Miniature Poodle. She has been spayed, is current on all vaccines including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, and rabies. Holly is microchipped and has been wormed twice. This sweet girl has been through trauma and many transitions in her short life and is depending on us to find her the best forever home possible. With that in mind we are looking for a home where there is another dog or someone is home majority of the day or has the ability to bring Holly to work with them. She needs a home that is able to be patient with the transition, willing to work with a trainer if necessary, and able to give her unconditional love. Please only submit an application if you are ready to adopt now and willing to go through our process. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and greet. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people who are not ready to commit. Please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. Due to the large volume of applications we receive, we are unfortunately not able to respond to everyone. We appreciate your understanding. Holly has an adoption fee of $1250.
