Sazzy is a fun, spunky, little independent Chihuahua/Dachsund mix that is about 6-7 years old. She likes almost everyone and loves her foster mom. Sazzy cuddles with mom whenever possible. It took a little bit for Sazzy to get comfortable in the foster home, but once she decided to trust her foster parents, she became a real love bug. When her foster parents aren't available, you can find Sazzy under the blanket on their bed. She is not aggressive but is not a 'dog's dog'...she simply tolerates other dogs, except when they step on her when she is under the blanket. She thinks that's rude and will let them know in no uncertain terms! Sazzy walks well on a leash and is housebroken. She is not a fan of the crate but has learned to go in one for her meals. Other than meals, Sazzy does not need to be crated as she has good house manners. She is usually a sweet girl, but she does have a couple of quirks. She does not like being grabbed or picked up without notice. The best way to deal with that is to let Sazzy come to you, from that point on, picking her up is no problem. Sazzy would not be a good fit for a family with young children. She does not need to be an only dog though she would do great as the sole recipient of her human's love and attention.
