ROLLO - ID#A4352792 My name is ROLLO. I am a neutered male, brown and white American Pit Bull Terrier, and I weigh about 51 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 7 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Dec 06, 2019. Rollo is one of the favorite seniors at the shelter. He is good on a leash, always a pleasure on walks and makes us laugh. He thinks he can lick the flavor right off your fingers and is a huge treat hound. If he joined your home, you would never have crumbs on the floor lol. He also is a consummate believer in kissing on the first date. He is NEVER without a smile, and will surely bring one to your face too if you take the time to meet him. He is struggling trying to get over his cold in the shelter environment and would really benefit from recovery in a home environment. If he isn't better with this course of meds, he will be at risk of immediate euthanasia. Because he caught a cold shortly after intake, he didn't receive a full dog eval. He is not dog reactive, but I do not think he enjoys close proximity and face to face. That is only our opinion at this time after seeing him around one other calm dog. We do not know how he would be with small dogs or cats. Please consider Rollo for your next furry family member.
