Hi, my name is NASH - ID#A4322044. I am a neutered male, white and red American Pit Bull Terrier, and I weigh about 43 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 5 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Sep 28, 2019. Nash is so vibrant and engaged with life. He looks to you as if to make sure you're having a great day too. Nash is deaf. He watches for you to 'talk' with him. He sits and shakes with hand signals and loves showing off his skills. He's affectionate and is up for a car ride anytime. Nash is ready to be a part of a family again. He's searching for a family who will be dedicated to his success as he adjusts to his new life and routine as well as always to 'talk' with him. He has so much love to share for a lifetime. Larest notes from a volunteer who had Nash out for a day foster: '12/19/2019 Day foster report: Nash went to Tempe Marketplace and Riverview Park. He was very energetic, loving, and snuggly. His foster said that he must have had previous training because he responds very well to treats. He was very good meeting strangers.' Other notes indicate that Nash is probably housebroken, trainable, and affectionate. He does pull on the leash some, but will eventually learn not to. Considering the length of time that Nash has been at the shelter, he is now at immediate risk for euthanasia unless adopted very soon. Please consider making Nash your next furry family member.
