About Jake the Dog

Jake is such a sweet dog. She is a mix between a yellow lab and a Shar Pei, and she will be 7 years old on January 27th. She was rescued from the human society in September of 2014. She loves to run around outside, play ball and tug o' war, and snuggling up on the couch. She is very intelligent and eager to be trained. She is currently living with a small female dog and a male kitten. She and the dog get along great, and she adores my grandma's beagle when he visits. The kitten has a lot of energy and loves to play, which can overwhelm her slightly. She has never bitten anyone or any animal before. She is not crate trained, but she is potty trained. She does have some issues with anxiety, especially around separation and loud noises. She really is a great gal, she would just do better in a home that has more time for her.
