About Apollo

Apollo is a 1.5 year old, 15.5 lb. male Papillon/Sheltie Mix who was found as a stray in Greene county. He was scared to death at the shelter. Once in foster care, it took a couple of days to come out of his shell. Apollo gets along with dogs his size and larger. PPR does not recommend Apollo being in a home with small pets. He has a strong prey drive. Apollo prefers people to dogs - he likes to be a lap dog. He likes to chew on bones and destroy stuffed animals. He is considered housebroken if he is kept on a schedule and cage trained. Apollo will be adopted out only to a home in the Dayton-Columbus-Cincinnati area.
