About Meddie (east)

Hi, my name is MEDDIE - ID#A4330873. I am a spayed female, black American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Oct 20, 2019. Meet Meddie and her amazing ears! Meddie was found on highway 303 and miraculously, jumped right into her finder's car. Meddie finds the shelter a bit loud and she would love to find a more quite home. One that understands she is a little on the timid side and it may take her a bit longer to warm up. Snacks certainly help in that department! Meddie walks nicely on leash and already knows 'sit'. She was appropriate during her dog intro and does best with other calm dogs. A meet and greet is always recommended to ensure a good match. Meddie certainly seems to have lived in a home, as calm, gentle, and friendly she is, but we have been unable to find her owners. Since Meddie has been at the shelter over 60 days, she is now at risk for euthanasia. Please consider making Meddie your next furry family member.
