Hi, my name is DEMI - ID#A4315445. I am a spayed female, white American Pit Bull Terrier, and I weigh about 61 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 7 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Sep 14, 2019. I'm a happy, social girl, and enjoy meeting new friends while we're out on our walks. I have a wiggly bottom while I say hello and flash a great big smile. I walk with good manners, sit pretty and love to show off my skill of 'shake'. Here are a few notes from volunteers who have recently spent time with Demi: 12/4/2019 WALK 'per vol Molly J - calm and friendly in kennel; easy pull/return; pulls on leash at first, but overall loose leash walker; took treats; seems to know sit and shake; very easy and calm, takes treats gently; enjoys her time sniffing on walk.' 12/15/2019 WALK 'per vol Brittney - friendly/excited/jumpy in kennel; moderate pull/return - excited/jumpy; strong puller on leash; took treats gently, solicited petting, playful; calmed down after about 10 minutes of walking; seems to know sit.' Demi is very close to euthanasia considering the amount of time she has been at the shelter. Please consider making Demi your next furry family member.
