About Butterscotch

Adoption Fee: $375
Lab / German Shepherd
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

This super sweet pup is Butterscotch. She is about 4 months old and weighs 17 lbs. She is up to date on vaccines, gets along great with other dogs & eager to please. Butterscotch is working on her housebreaking skills and is already crate trained. She will thrive in a home with at least one other dog to interact with. Butterscotch has a laid back personality and is an equal opportunity snuggler enjoying cuddles with her foster parents and foster dogs. Foster mom shared: 'She is a sweetheart, so smart and loving. She watches everything my dogs do and follows them to the tee. She is very smart, learning so much. She has started already going to the door to go out for duties and is so proud to do this just like the big girls. I am so proud of her, too!' We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in her genetic background. Our best guess is that she is a mix of Yellow Labrador and Shepherd. We expect her to reach 45 -50 lbs as an adult, but we can not guarantee size at maturity. Highlights about Butterscotch: - Working on her housebreaking skills - Crate trained - Enjoys playing with other dogs - Great age to introduce to cats - Friendly, Affectionate, Playful - Loves to cuddle - Super smart - Up-to-date on vaccines - Has not been spayed yet* * Based on current veterinary recommendations, Butterscotch has not been spayed due to her young age. We do require proof of this procedure at a later date as part of the terms of our Adoption Agreement. Please discuss the correct time for this to be done with your veterinarian. We can provide a $75 rebate once the procedure is completed. A list of Low Cost Clinics is available. Our adoption fee is $375 which includes age appropriate vaccines (such as Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, Rabies), worming, micro-chipping, and health exam. Discount vouchers for training, grooming and similar dog related products and services are provided. NEW: First vet visit is now FREE with participating VT veterinarians.
