OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. My name is Ozzy and I am a very playful sweet pup, I love to fetch and if I say so myself I am very good at it. My foster parents are very proud when they throw the ball and I bring it back. I am working on my sit and stay commands and getting good at it. Right now I'm hanging out with my friend Pi̱a and we are having a great time, pl aying with each other. I know when it is time to go back on my crate and do so without fuss. I am still working on my potty Training. I don't have any accidents on my crate but when playing inside the house, sometimes I get to excited and little leaks happen (working on that). I have discovered my voice so I can alert you of any intruders in the back yard or if someone is at the front door, Otherwise I am a very quiet guy content with playing and spending time with you. I would really love to have a home with humans that are outdoors people and like to hang out with me playing and chasing things. I have seen cats and try to chase, but when they put me on my place I stop and go play with something else. Feel free to stop by and visit with me at the adoption center this weekend. Ozzy is a male Lab / Shepherd Mix that we estimate to be born around 11/15/2019. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
