About Maevie

Maevie was rescued from a backyard breeder/hoarder in AL, where she basically lived in a stall with a bunch of other chis. For that reason, she is still very shy around people. While she has made a lot of progress, she will need a savvy, patient family to continue to help her blossom into the sweet loving dog she is meant to be. Maevie is very good with other animals, and she would need to go to a home with at least one other dog. A quieter home or one with older and respectful kids would be best. She is doing great with her housetraining and loves to go for walks! All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
