About Sally

Sally is a very sweet and loving special needs dog. She is a very responsive and trainable dog (knows her basic commands very well), however she is a very anxious dog would need to be taken to a vet to explore medication as an option. Loud noises and long periods of time alone can be triggers for her, though she is not destructive when anxious. Though other dogs are not usually a problem, there have been two unprovoked incidences that may have been food related. Additionally, she does not do well in households with cats. Because of this, her ideal home would be one without any other pets. Though I have never seen her around children, her anxious and at times unpredictable behavior around cats, dogs, and strangers suggests that she should be in a home without small children. Sally is a truly wonderful dog who does have a lot to offer, but she needs an attentive and quiet environment to be able to thrive.
