About Prince (east)

Hi, my name is PRINCE - ID#A4317172. I am a neutered male, brown and white American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Sep 19, 2019. Prince was surrendered to the shelter because his owners had become homeless, and wanted him to have a chance at a better life. They said had him about a year and that he is a very good boy, does pull a little on a leash, but knows 'sit', 'stay', 'lie down', 'kennel', and 'water' (to go play in the water). They also said he does not bark often, but will let you know when he needs to go out. Here are some recent notes about Prince from volunteers who have spent time with him: 12/4/2019 WALK per vol Allen - 'excited in kennel; difficult pull, easy return; strong puller on leash; allowed petting; laid down on ground, rolled onto back and let handler pet his belly.' 12/15/2019 WALK per vol Jennifer - 'friendly in kennel; easy pull/return - did not fence fight; used modified leash harness; took treats, solicited petting; settles on leash after some time on walk; took treats gently; seems to know shake and sits when asked.' 12/16/2019 WALK per vol Nicole Z - 'calm and friendly in kennel; easy pull/return; allowed petting, playful with handler; fun dog, very interactive; loves to play with tennis balls; really sweet and funny little guy.'
