About Chevy

We've been caring for my nephew's dog, Chevy, since he & his wife had triplets in August. We love Chevy a lot; he's sweet, affectionate & loves people, but due to my recent surgery, we're seeking a really good home w/ caring, experienced owners who'll give him the attention we do. Good watch dog, friendly to guests and is trained not to jump up on people. Obedient, great w/ humans & our cat, who, before living w/ us, he would likely have chased, but now the two stay home alone together & sleep next to each other! A pound pup, my nephew had him for just over a year & told us that he likes to hunt & chase critters. Chevy has been cited once for fighting w/ a dog. But he gets along fine w/ dogs who come into our house. He's just about 5-years old now, a compact 70 lbs. Cute, loving & playful, if someone takes the time to work w/ him, they'll love him just as we do. And he'll want to sleep in bed with you if you let him, but he seeks permission! We have a fenced-in yard & that's just what he needs. He is very healthy, we've been caring for him since June 2019. Please call and I'll send you more pictures.
