Lizzie was abused. A rescue got her, and we adopted her from them in FL. She was very scared and nervous around everything. She was great when we were alone. We moved to Maine and are living with our son, DIL, and grandson. Our whole family visits often and it is too much for her. She did snap at me when I walked by and it startled her so I do not want to take a chance on one of our grandchildren starling her and getting bitten due to no fault of theirs. One grandson already had that happen with a dog. She ignores other dogs and other animals. She doesn't even pay attention to our two cats. She is ok but very nervous with children. After she snapped at me, I realize she needs a place with a calm atmosphere. She never learned to play, so is laying quietly until we take her for walks. She really is a good dog and does very well in her pen. She walks without pulling on her leash and rides in vehicles well. If left alone she prefers to be in a pen.
