About Kane

Meet Kane! Kane is a 3-5 year old pitbull. He is the sweetest guy who loves every person he meets! He was abandoned by his owners who moved and never came back for him. He absolutely loves his squeaky ball. He likes to talk and will bark if you get him all excited! He is weary of cats as his foster brother cat is a little sassy but hes friendly with him. He did chase them when he first met them but that has been since corrected. At first glance, he does well with other dogs when leashed and in controlled environments BUT HE SHOULD BE AN ONLY DOG. He lacks confidence around other dogs and although he is not aggressive consistently he can be if he feels unsafe or fearful around another dog. He does exhibit some separation anxiety and will chew on molding/doors so he needs a strong sturdy crate or to be left in a room where the door and molding are blocked. When his current foster is gone he stays in a room with the door and molding blocked and doesnt bother anything in the room. Although, he has plenty of toys in there to keep him occupied. He really is a house boy he loves to cuddle on the couch. He will dig if he gets bored outside but mostly just does his business and then waits at the door to come back and cuddle. His favorite game is playing squeaky ball inside where you through the ball and he meets you back on the couch with it. Were not sure how anyone could leave him because he sure is a sweetie pie. He will come fully vetted (neutered, microchipped, first months preventatives , rabies vaccine , and parvo vaccine). I am in NC but invovled in rescue and can transport him to somewhere on the eastern part of the country for his perfect fit home.
