About Koda

Koda is an amazing dog that is great at making sure his people never feel alone. He is super sweet and gets the cutest happy feet when he gets excited. Koda loves to play and will carry his toys around the house just in case his people feel like playing a fun game of fetch. This 55 pound, 5 year Shepherd mix also knows how to play nicely with other dogs and will avoid cats like they are aliens. He does great at communicating gently he doesn't want someone to take his things which is good but will need someone to continue to work with him on this since resource guarding toys and bones isn't something we humans appreciate. Koda likes being with his people so much he struggles with having to be in a crate but is learning. He isn't the least bit destructive though and sleeps well all through the night. Koda is quickly figuring out where to potty and where not to and knows sit and shake like a pro. We believe he would be good with older kids.
