Courtesy Posting: EXTREMELY URGENT 1/1/20 DEADLINE - HELP PLEASE!!! 2 YOUNG STRAY DOGS (AUSSIE X AND THE OTHER IS A CHOW/CATTLE DOG X) TO DIE DUE TO BEING SCARED, DO NOT NEED RESCUE TOGETHER, WHO CAN HELP PLEASE? NEED RESCUE/FOSTER/PLEDGES TO SAVE EACH! Milo - A252623 Solano City, Solano, Nor Cal http://petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=SOCO.A252623 Milo Two young looking dogs (one is a beautiful chow/cattle dog? mix they named Monty, the other is a cute aussie mix/berner? mix breed they named Milo) are incredibly urgent at the Solano County shelter in N Cal, and just made Rescue only due to being scared. This shelter has requested a rescue by 1/1 and we are now desperate to try to find fosters to pair with rescues for each dog. Monty is about 45- 50 lbs and Milo is about 60 -65 lbs, they do not need to go the same home or rescue. The situation is that a kind lady named Trudy found them wandering the other day near a road in Vacaville. She tried to get them and left out food for days. She was able to get one (the kelpie looking one) and brought him to the local shelter thinking they would help. She was able to get a trap and got the chow mix (he has a black tongue, but perhaps also mixed with some aussie breed?) and called AC for assistance, and then reached out to me. She said the dogs are not aggressive, they are just scared, possibly undersocialized, it is unclear. She said the chow mix took treats gently. The shelter admitted that Milo accepts petting. But they made both dogs Rescue Only due to fear and gave only 3 days to find a rescue over the holidays, which really is less than 3 business days. Both dogs appear to be young, male, in good condition. But the shelter used a catch pole on the chow mix and cut up his mouth. No wonder why he is even more scared now, omg. Please contact me asap at [email protected] if you have any interest or can pledge for a rescue and their safety. Thanks, Robin and Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network
