Wynter came from the Wythe County, VA shelter after having been found as a stray. A local rescue, Rescue and RemEmber, pulled her and put her into foster care until transport could be arranged to WAAAG. She takes a minute to get to know you, but then she is your BFF and will want to be by your side. Wynter is a very happy and active girl. After an initial burst of joy to be heading out for a walk, she does very well on leash. Wynter knows basic commands, loves playing with toys and will gleefully chase a ball. Wynter can be dog selective, so a slow introduction is important. The perfect forever home for Wynter will be with an active family with a fenced yard. Due to her exuberant nature, older, considerate children only please. At just 45 lbs, Wynter is on the small side and is believed to be between 3-4 years young. Wynter is spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. If you would like to consider making Wynter a part of your family, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.waaag.org/adopt.
