She has been vetted and spayed. She is good with other nice cats and older kids. Dogs? She had a family and a home but a fire caused the family to flee, leaving her behind to fend for herself! She would follow people on the sidewalk but was just ignored, finally wandering to the home of an animal loving neighbor who saved her. PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! IT'S A LIFE! Marsha is a tiny kitty but just as sweet as can be. She was full of mats which the rescue mom is slowly brushing out while she sits ever so nicely being bribed by canned food treats. She has so much love to give to anyone that will love her back. She is very smart and will greet you when you come home and then follow you around the house. She likes to talk and be talked back to. She loves interactive toys like feather on a stick and shoe lace drag as well as the Fling ama String and the $2 'cat dancer' toys. She loves kitty treats, a rectangle corrugated scratcher that lays flat on the floor and a tall cat tree sitting in front of the window with the sun rays beaming in. She will expect to share your bed. She has been free fed quality hard food (quality meaning the first ingredient begins with meat) and gets %BD%BD can fancy feast can food morning and night. Below information is for preventative purposes%BD'%BD| Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. It's simple to monitor. Just make sure there is at least one good size pee ball in the litter box a day. Kitty fountains are effective to help manage a cat's fluids. A diet of good quality canned food pate is better than dry food however there are some dry foods that are pH balanced and help maintain Urinary Tract - UT health like Blue Buffalo, Purina Pro Plan, Purina One UT health, Iams UT health. AVOID FISH! Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment! They need a cat tree, love and an inside home ADOPT Marsha Mellow FOR LIFE!
