About Lenny LaPew

Adoption Fee: $75
Maine Coon / Ragdoll
Age: Kitten
Sex: Male

Lenny LaPew is an adorable chocolate black long hair male approx. 7mo. His adoption fee is $75. He has been vetted, neutered and tested negative for Leuk/FIV. Lenny was dumped in a parking lot and found eating out of a restaurant dumpster near a busy intersection! He kept meowing, begging to people for help and food and FINALLY his savior came to his rescue. PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! IT'S A LIFE! Lenny is a sweet little guy that loves to eat and is putting on weight nicely. He is just now starting to come out of his shell. The misfortune of having to survive on the streets may have caused him to be cautious at first but he is starting to play and interact. He loves to play in the kitty tunnel, climb on the cat trees and he love the interaction of the other foster kitty and the big lazy dog. He also likes to lay around, observe and nap. Kittens are players that need lots of toys and playmates. They love boxes, interactive toys like feather on a stick and shoe lace drag as well as the 'Fling ama String' and the $2 'cat dancer' toy. Lenny must have other playful kitties in his forever home and a relaxed environment. Also, a calm dog or older kids would be ok, if any. Kids playing and running around would not be good for him. He loves people companionship too. He is a lap kitten, snuggler, inquisitive and affectionate. He has been free fed quality hard food (the first ingredient beginning with meat), he gets quality canned food morning and night and needs kitten food until he is 1 year old. Kitties love treats in small dosages while young, a rectangle corrugated scratcher that lays flat on the floor and a tall cat tree sitting in front of the window with the sun rays beaming in. They will expect to share your bed. They need playmates, a cat tree, love and an inside home. Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment! Below information is for preventative purposes'| Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. It's simple to monitor. Just make sure there is at least one good size pee ball in the litter box a day. Kitty fountains are effective to help manage a cat's fluids. A diet of good quality canned food pate is better than dry food however there are some dry foods that are pH balanced and help maintain Urinary Tract - UT health like Blue Buffalo, Purina Pro Plan, Purina One UT health, Iams UT health. AVOID FISH! ADOPT Lenny LaPew FOR LIFE! CNPS text 602-332-6615 email [email protected] REMEMBER WHEN YOU ARE ADOPTING A PET YOU ARE ADOPTING A FAMILY MEMBER FOR LIFE! THEY ARE NOT THROW AWAY TOYS! WHEN YOU MOVE YOU TAKE YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR BELONGINGS, YOUR PETS. IT'S A LIFE, A COMMITMENT TO THE END. If you need any type of help with an animal this is a great place to start.
