About Panda

Meet Panda!! Amazing and loving guy looking for a home of his own. Panda is a 2 year old, male, Anatolian Shepherd mix. He weighs approximately 55lbs and is still growing! He will be neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped as part of his adoption. We saved Panda from a high kill shelter, he was severely malnourished, sick and covered in fleas. Since being here he has begun to pack on the pounds and we have gotten his flea problems completely taken care of. He has had a long road to recovery but through it all he has stayed a friendly happy guy! He is hit or miss on if he wants to be friends with other animals. Sometimes he loves them, sometimes he is not a fan but we are working on it! Due to this we feel at this time he would do best as the only animal in the home. Panda is a high energy guy who would love nothing more then to spend time being active with his family. Getting to be with his people is his favorite thing! He enjoys getting to go for long walks and loves to play ball! He walks well on a leash, is crate trained and is mostly house trained. He knows how to sit, shake and lie down. He is very scared of cars and gets upset if some drive by him to fast. We think panda was kept on a chain his entire life and he is still learning to feel confident around new things. He does ride well in the car but is still too scared of cars to jump in it himself, he has to be picked up and put into the car. We are working hard on these issues and he has come a long way! Panda has been through alot in his short life and when we got him it truly showed, he has made great strives in the time he has been here and wants nothing more then to be an active, and included, part of a loving family.
