About Lilly

Adoption Fee: 425
Lab mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Currently in a trial adoption. LILLY is a wonderful dog that came to us VERY scared of everything. She observed for awhile and we handled her and then all of a sudden...she decided she loves the world and everyone in it. She suddenly became our house dog with many other rescue dogs and about 10 cats. She still looks suspiciously at the cats and we have to call her down on cats so we say best NO cats in the home and no access for her to any chickens. The fabulous part is...SHE'S HOUSE TRAINED! Lilly loves toys and hasn't tried escaping out of a short fence. She's absolutely a doll with ears that stand up but then lay back like propellers!!! In searching the net for her 'breed' and using my dog scanning application (not for microchips but for breeds), it came up with CAROLINA DOG. A very good breed for being smart, sturdy, healthy....it's a great dog. We gave Lilly a birthday of 2/28/18...best guess. Lilly is spayed, vaccinated (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchipped, dewormed, heart worm tested NEG and on prevention, and on flea/tick prevention. She is a great family dog. I have not tested her with very small children...but she loves kids to run and play.; If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the online application: http://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ If you have any questions, you are welcome to text me at 210-394-6060. I can send more information and pictures. You can also go to our Face Book page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. ================= Important: If you are interested in this pup/dog, please fill out the application (link listed above). The rescue will contact you once the application is received. Although we strive to answer everyone, due to the high volume of inquiries we receive, we cannot guarantee a response to all emails. Filling out the application is the best way and ensures a response from the rescue. In addition, while you are emailing us, if others apply, you can lose out adopting the dog you chose. We have hundreds and hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. However, if you are applying or have applied anywhere else, we do need to know that. Also, please note that we are almost always holding adoption events on Saturdays at noon at Petworks in Olympia, Washington if you would like to meet with us in person. A note about pricing: Puppy adoption fees generally are $495; adult dogs fees generally are $395. However, fees vary depending on the dog/puppy. Some pups/dogs have flexible adoption fees. It can even depend just on the foster availability, if pre adopted, etc. Our adoption fees cover the cost of transportation from Texas and the necessary health certificate documentation. The fees also include all medical costs to make sure the pups are appropriately vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and spayed/ neutered. Additionally, any dogs over 6 months have had a negative heart-worm test. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and a myriad of other vetting. If the adoption fees seem high (which never cover the true cost of rescue), we recommend fostering for a good rescue. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees. We are always in need of good fosters. We are all volunteers and many of us donate 70+ hours/week and thousands/year of our own funds. WA and OR shelters are funded by taxpayers, hence, many have lower adoption fees. Shayne's rescue is a few foster parents in the Olympia/Tumwater area. We foster dogs that rescues ask us to foster and let those rescues use this site to list those pups/dogs and rehome them. We donate all of our time, food, monies to assist in getting these dogs forever homes. We are not responsible for any experience you have with any dog you might see posted on this site. They are the property, if you will, of the rescue they come from and all paperwork and vet work you will receive when you adopt and it will have all that information for you. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. Since worldwide over 1/2 billion puppies/dogs are PTS yearly and over 9,000/day just in U.S. shelters, yes even entire litters of puppies are PTS daily in many US shelters! Hence, we firmly believe there is NO breed other than rescue for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives
