About Amos (east)

Hi, my name is Amos #A4341279 I am a neutered male, black, American Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 10 years old, and I have been at the shelter since November 12, 2019. Amos Needs a Hero. At 10 years young, this sweet senior finds himself in an unfortunate situation at the shelter. Sadly, since his arrival Amos has not been feeling well and while the shelter does what they can, they are simply not able to provide him with the treatment needed to help him feel better. Skin conditions and allergies are common for many animals... and generally pretty manageable, but what Amos needs right now is OUT! This boy would benefit from a home environment, a little TLC and a visit to a full-service vet. Amos recently had a day trip and here is what we learned about him: He is not reactive to other dogs, and prefers calm interactions with polite dog-friends. He walks nicely on leash and takes treats politely. Amos is slightly shy at first but warms up quickly. He could really use a comfy retirement home, so if you or anyone you know is interested in adopting or fostering Amos please let us know or go meet him at our east county animal shelter in Mesa. *Creative Contributions is willing to sponsor medical help if an approved county foster is found.
