About Spike

Meet Spike. He's a neutered, 5 year- old boxer mix weighing approximately 70 pounds. He is looking for a 'furrever' home because of due to a change in his human's circumstances, he can no longer give Spike a home with the attention that he deserves. Although, he's lived with a cat and another dog, Spike would be better suited if he were the only animal in the house. He likes attention, so if you want a BFF, he's your man! He's a very good watch dog and has a bark that would scare a prowler. You will always feel safe and protected with Spike around. He enjoys basking in the sun in a fenced yard. When he's not enjoying the outside, he likes laying on the couch. His human has allowed him to lay on the furniture, and he's never been in a crate. He's not up to date on his shots. He's otherwise healthy, although in the summer, he developed an allergy condition, but that was easily taken care of. He took his allergy meds like a champ and enjoys bath time. Since he's never been around small children, he would do better in a home with older children that are age 10 and up. He would like someone who could teach him how to play catch and give him the attention and love that he deserves. He can't wait to meet you! Come and meet this wonderful boy.
