Welcome Max to CCPAL. He is a is a 1 -year-old Chihuahua. He is a pure bred or a high mixed Chi dog. He weighs about 7 pounds and is full grown. She was part of a local hoarding situation. This lady had too many Chihuahua mixes and the County stepped in and asked rescues to take some of these dogs. CCPAL came in for 5 of them. He is a wonderful lap companion and not very energetic. A small yard or patch of grass is all that he will need to be satisfied. He would love to be with another dog in the home. He is a little shy (very nice but shy) and another dog will help show him the ropes. He is using a potty pad in his foster home. He is also crated and does fine. He is good with other dogs and cats. His best home is with a person that wants a companion dog and one to hold. He is small enough to travel in a doggy carrier along with you. He is quiet and gentle. Older kids are best due to his small size. 7 years or older would be our pick. He will be neutered soon, is getting vaccinated and will be ready for his new home in January 2020. He is a lovely Chihuahua dog that adores women naturally and warms up to men that are sweet and gentle. She loves all the attention he is getting in his foster home here in Texas. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can work with a transporter to deliver him to Washington, Portland, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Vermont and all along the East Coast.
