About Ranger - in Eastern NY

Ranger is a neutered male about 2+ years old. Was a stray. Shelter was calling him Ranger and he responds to it. Good with people, rides well. Walks on a leash. Good in home. Seems to be good with small dogs and cats. Getting to know him better now. He was vetted on 12/19/19 . He was heartworm negative but Lymes positive. We have treated him for the Lymes and hookworms. He is gaining weight nicely now. He is a love. It is a shame he was a stray. Someone loved this dog. He is gentle with great manners. We have microchipped him so he will never be a stay again. The adoption fee is $400 due to cost of medical needs of our dogs. $450 for Dogs 12 months and under. You will receive a copy of their medical records when you adopt. We do not accept INVISIBLE fencing for the following reasons: 1) Most Pyrs ignore the pain and go through it. 2) This is a guardian breed and this fencing does not keep people or other animals out of your yard. The Pyr could take them as a threat or be attacked by them. Most of these dogs are not a dog park breed. They bark a lot and can bother your neighbors.
