About Tucker

Tucker is available for adoption, he is being fostered in Sarasota, FL. 'Hey Everyone!! My name is Tucker, I am a year old and I would really like a sport home! I am a Kelpie that was purchased in South Carolina by an 18yr old at 6 weeks old. Needless to say they didn't take good care of me, and here I am in rescue now. I have all my shots and have been neutered. I weigh around 30 pounds and will probably not get much bigger. I am heartworm negative. I have been in several rounds of manners class, which I love, and I know all my basic commands, a few tricks here and there, and I love to learn. My foster mom says I am very, very smart. I am shy sometimes in new situations, but I am getting socialized and that shyness only peeks in once in a while. I will play ball and play with other dogs. I live with cats but they wont play with me and I leave them alone. That is called peaceful coexistence :) I like children but I am learning not to jump on them so a home without small ones would be best. My foster mom says I have a very good nose and may be a candidate for scent work, or even agility. I am looking for my forever home. Tucker requires a home with a fenced yard.
