About Charlie

Hi, I'm Charlie! I'm a beautiful brindle girl, don't you think? And yes, Charlie is a girl's name, too. I'm a 1-1/2 year old, 67-pound, rottweiler mix who is spayed, up-to-date on shots, and housebroken. I currently live in a foster home in Lawrence, MA. My people say I am an all-around party girl that just wants to have fun. I have not found anyone or anything I do not love, though I need to approach people first. It takes us rescues time to learn the lay of the land, so we need something called an adjustment period which the ARK folks will tell you all about. It's easy to do and before you know it, I'll be your one true love. I keep busy having fun, but I also take time for important stuff like cuddling! Let me melt your troubles away with some nice big hugs. You must know that one of my talents I often get in trouble for is stealing food off the counters. Butter is my favorite - I just love butter! I am good at following directions so 'my problem' is going away. I do love my doggie friends so my wish is to have a pup or two in my furever home. I would love to play with them in a fenced yard and take walks together. I don't mind cats, either. I do like kids but since I am large and need time to approach people, my new home won't have children, but teens and four-legged kids would be fine!
